Amanda PierceDo you ever come back from your holidays only to notice that not only have you got crow’s feet, but they’re white compared with the rest of your attractively sun-tanned face..? When we’re in the sun, we automatically screw up our eyes, squinting to protect our eyes from the sun causing wrinkling around the eyes. The sun tans the skin around except for where we have been creasing our eyes up where the skin remains white and the next thing we see is little white lines appearing where our crow’s feet are around the eyes.

Botox relaxes the muscles around the eyes. Tiny amounts injected superficially under the skin will gently soften these lines, relaxing the creasing up of the skin and preventing the formation of crow’s feet – particularly effective in the sun!

However, if you are going away on holiday or planning to sunbathe in any shape or form, remember that with or without botox, the most effective anti-ageing strategy you can employ, is to keep well topped up with a good quality SPF (sun protection factor) of at least factor 30 on your face as this will protect your skin. Even better, stay out of the sun all together, but if you’re anything like me, that just isn’t realistic….

If you want your crow’s feet treating for your holidays we have an offer on for the summer – £25.00 off 2 areas of botox.
