15 Days to Christmas!

I have been so busy recently with the lead up to our open evening, getting the clinic ready, putting up the Christmas tree, making sure the champagne is on ice, that I have completely neglected any Christmas preparations at home! It’s now 15 days until Christmas and I haven’t even bought one single present, sent a card, let alone buy a Christmas tree for home! Every day, I talk to my clients and ask them if they are ready for Christmas yet, and mostly they say ‘well I’ve just got a few bits left to buy’, or ‘I’ve still got all the wrapping to do’. Wrapping to do! I wish I had something to wrap! But seriously, do any of you think that we can sometimes start preparing too soon? I don’t know about all of you, but I sometimes feel that I never get to the end of Christmas shopping and that the only reason I stop buying is because it gets to Christmas Eve, the shops shut and I think ‘oh well, that’s that now’.
I am going to Oxford this weekend to visit my parents and my son Louis who is at university in Bristol is coming over on Saturday to Christmas shop with me. Now everyone could do with a Louis son when it comes to shopping! Maybe that’s why I have been so laid back about not starting any shopping yet because I am relying on Louis to help me out! We’re getting his present as well of course! And he knows exactly what he wants. He’s learning to play the electric violin and needs a new bow, so Oxford seems a good place to go out and find one! I have 5 children and Jeremy my eldest son is going to be 23 on the 23rd. So I am really hoping Louis has some good ideas for Jeremy as he has given me no clues what he would like and I have no idea what to buy him!
The mum’s are sorted this year with Jan Marini skin care so I suppose I have sort of started. Jan Marini is amazing. And the travel packs make gorgeous Christmas presents. My mum is a big fan of really good skin care, so I am sure she will appreciate it! You have to be careful as a botox specialist, choosing presents for family members that are linked to my business. You could really upset someone suggesting they have botox for Christmas!
Having said that….loads of you are making the most of my Christmas offer on botox this year and one of the reasons I have been so late getting prepared for Christmas, is because I have been busy dashing around giving you all your botox in time for Christmas and making sure you all look smooth and beautiful on Christmas morning! (If you don’t know what I’m talking about, have a look on my botox page, its 3 areas for the price of 2, £260 for 3 areas which is actually a remarkably good deal!)
Anyway I’m going to sign off now and make a Christmas list. Next time I shall tell you all about the presents I have bought and how beautiful my Christmas tree looks in the lounge (I hope…).
